CHICAGO, IL — August 16, 2017 — For the eighth consecutive year, SingleHop, a global provider of on-demand hosted private clouds and managed cloud services, has been named to the Inc. 5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. According to Inc., less than one percent of applicants and honorees have made the list eight times or more.
“SingleHop’s sustained growth is a testament to our employees’ tireless commitment to technological innovation and customer support,” said Zak Boca, CEO of SingleHop. “The IT Services industry is competitive and constantly evolving. To be counted among the fastest-growing companies in America for so long is both humbling and the perfect motivation to never stop working to solve tomorrow’s IT challenges.”
SingleHop has made the Inc. 5000 every year of its eligibility, debuting in 2010 at No. 58 and rising to No. 25 in 2011. With three-year sales growth of 55 percent, SingleHop ranks No. 4,483 on this year’s list.
A pioneer of IT infrastructure automation since its founding in 2006, SingleHop expanded its portfolio of dedicated and managed cloud hosting services in recent years to include managed services for Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, as well as a full suite of managed security and business continuity solutions. Bringing automation up the stack into the managed services layer, SingleHop is making the managed cloud experience more predictable, proactive, and transparent through a marriage of intelligent automation and certified engineering staff.
“The Inc. 5000 is the most persuasive evidence I know that the American Dream is still alive,” said Eric Schurenberg, president and editor-in-chief of Inc. “The founders and CEOs of the Inc. 5000 tell us they think determination, risk taking, and vision were the keys to their success, and I believe them.”
The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $206 billion, and the companies on the list collectively generated 619,500 jobs over the past three years. Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000.

Inc. 5000 Methodology
The 2017 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2013 to 2016. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2013. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2016. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2013 is $100,000; the minimum for 2016 is $2 million.
