Chicago, IL: April 22, 2011: SingleHop, purveyor of fine on-demand IT web hosting services, and the Chicago's fastest growing IT firm, today announced its sponsorship of the Entrepreneurs Unpluggd conference which will be held at the Chopin Theatre in Chicago this April 26th. At the conference, SingleHop will be raffling away two 1-year managed hosting accounts valued at over $3,000 each.
The Entrepreneurs Unpluggd series offers quarterly forums where business leaders can connect with upcoming entrepreneurs in Chicago. Each event is focused on offering a hands-on and personal environment where knowledge transfer and mentorship take place. The next event, titled “The funding question,” will feature three entrepreneurs who will share their unique experiences of growing their companies three distinct ways: self-funding (aka boot strapping), venture capital, and angel investment.
Dan Salcedo, Director of Communications for SingleHop commented that “as a startup and one of the fastest growing companies in our industry, we understand that while hard work and determination are key components to a successful startup formula, large doses of common sense and wisdom significantly increase the odds of success in virtually all circumstances. We are excited to partner with Entrepreneurs Unpluggd and look forward to supporting their vision and our local startup community through this partnership.”
Entrepreneurs Unpluggd was developed by Stella Fayman and Tim Jahn to create an intimate and engaging environment for entrepreneurs to learn real lessons from real experiences. Fayman and Jahn have gone to great lengths to ensure that all the details, including the venue, number of participants, and the caliber of the featured entrepreneurs is consistent with their vision. Fayman noted that Entrepreneurs Unplugged “is excited to have outstanding local companies such as SingleHop support our efforts to build the entrepreneurship community in Chicago. Their contribution will surely help a Chicago entrepreneur move his/her business forward.”
