Hello,
I just wanted to give some feedback here. I've been with several different shared hosting companies and most of them stink. It's just the nature of the beast I suppose. I outgrew them about 2 years ago and purchased a VPS account. It was the worst. I guess that it was probably fine if the user knew what they were doing but I didn't. And trying to get support was like pulling teeth. At one point I was told that I just had to figure it out myself. After struggling with it for several weeks I gave up and closed the account.
I've been limping along with shared hosting again until I took the plunge and got a managed dedicated server with SingleHop. I spent several days researching online and asking questions before I picked them.
I have to say that I've received more support, guidance and professionalism from SH in the last 48 hours than I have received from all the hosting companies I've used in the past combined. They are lightning fast at responding to questions and support tickets. If the first few days experience as a customer is any indication then I'm going to be a very, very happy camper!!

I am a very recent customer to Single Hop having signed up a week ago. I just started setting up my server today, and, of course, had some technical issues. Well, your tech support was all over my server - and on a Sunday night, to boot. I figure the one time a support staff would be sleeping, but they were actually trying to fix my server before I even knew there was a problem.
I had the honor of working with Garrett Murphy and Sam Bowling. Both were prompt, knowledgeable, and went above-and-beyond what I would have considered satisfactory. I am so used to other hosting companies and never even hearing from anyone with technical knowledge beyond working a toaster. To know that there is an expert staff willing to help me is well worth the extra money. (Although I did learn a lot about managing a server having to do it all by myself with other companies!)

I am sorry that it had to be escalated, but with the benefit of hindsight, it was necessary. I think it's only fair to say that we have been receiving some very good technical support from SingleHop in the last couple of days. We are particularly grateful to the help of your Junior System Administrator Ronald Cotoni who went all the way and resolved issues after issues.
I would be grateful if you could convey our gratitude to Ronald, your VP of Operations, and other staff concerned. Last but not the least, thanks to yourself for taking this issue up
