SingleHop ReactiveWall

The SingleHop ReactiveWall is a state of the art reactive firewall service that actively blocks attacks and attempts to penetrate your server security. The system obtains to-the-second IDS monitoring data from our internal Intrusion Detection System (IDS.) In the event an attack is detected, the system will immediately apply a temporary or permanent block using the firewall native to the OS (or your Cisco PIX firewall) to prevent any further communication between the attacker and the server until a system administrator can review it.

The rule set used in our IDS is updated nightly. The data lists are syndicated from a number of sources, including, but not limited to: SpamHaus, ShadowServer and EmergingThreats. SingleHop ReactiveWall will protected from hundreds or even thousands of known hackers or drone servers that are configured to distribute exploits to hundreds of hosts on the internet.

Note: ReactiveWall is not a guarantee that you will not be compromised. However, it is effective at stopping nearly 95% of known attacks and many unknown ones.

Currently, SingleHop ReactiveWall is available to existing SingleHop customers on request. Free for the first month and then $20.00 per server per month.
