General Managed Web Hosting Services is designed for organizations that do not have 24 hour IT-staffing, and need support for basic web hosting services, as well as control panel troubleshooting.
The General Managed Dedicated Server Services plan is designed for those looking to take a hands-off approach, and have most of the general services managed entirely by our support team, including cPanel Dedicated Servers, our preferred Linux dedicated server control panel. When you utilize SingleHop’s General Managed Dedicated Server services, you can rest assured that your dedicated server is in the hands of professionals.
List of managed dedicated server services under the General Managed Services option:
1. IMAP, POP & SMTP E-mail Services
2. DNS (BIND)
3. HTTP (Apache on Linux, IIS or Apache on Windows)
4. Apache Addons and Modules
5. MySQL
6. Java/JSP/Servlets (we support Apache Tomcat)
7. Various Third-Party Scripts and Software (please contact support for most recent list.)
8. Control Panel Updates and Software Management (currently, only supporting cPanel configurations.)
General Managed Services include 2 hours of system administrator trouble-shooting time per month and additional hours can be purchased at $75.00 per hour. Hours do not roll to the next month.
