Thanks Phrozen755 for replying! :)

I appreciate your feedback and we do make an effort to connect with clients without spamming them. I have seen a growing trend of people just tweeting advertisements at people and that is not our intention. Our social networking accounts, like Twitter, are not setup to spam anyone. We do tweet about our offers, because we want to help current and potential clients save money.

With that said, we will continue to make more of an effort to connect with clients and potential customers by interacting more. We definitely don't want to become the "other" hosting providers you are talking about! :)

I definitely encourage strong company to client relations, especially utilizing social marketing tools such as Twitter. The fact that your clients / prospects / competition can (and probably do) check out your latest deals is a great and strong sell point. It gives a sense of closer client to customer relations, this is exactly what companies need. Now more than ever.

My only issue (seeing this as a growing trend) is that any company in question that's on top of their social marketing tools have and often sometimes do, spam their customers with useless information which they don't want to hear. That's the greatness of Twitter however, as you can either follow the employees or the company Twitter account. I (being a PROUD and HAPPY singlehop customer) would absolutely hate it if Singlehop started just using Twitter to spam their customers with promotions.

I ONLY say this of course just because I'm following a couple of other hosting providers and they're doing just that, *thinking* it's the greatest thing.

What people need nowadays is a more "human" run company. We don't want to be doing business with drones.

Keep posting, Steph!
