Dan began his career in the internet infrastructure industry at midPhase Services, Inc., a shared hosting provider that grew to over 150,000 customers before being acquired by UK2 Group. At midPhase, Dan contributed heavily to its rise from a small company to one of the largest shared hosting providers in the United States with over 150,000 customers and $18 million in revenue.

At SingleHop, Dan focuses on the company’s marketing strategy and operations, leading the company’s growing marketing team and working to bridge the gap between marketing, sales and technology. Dan believes heavily in differentiation, and focuses on highlighting SingleHop’s unique and powerful technology platform which helps it stand out from its competitors in a saturated and fragmented marketplace.

Dan regularly attends and speaks at industry and marketing events. As a recognized thought leader in online marketing, Dan is one of the few internet marketing professionals to hold a Horizon Award for Marketing Innovation. When he isn't working, Dan can be found in his kitchen whipping up homemade BBQ sauce, or in front of the grill with a spatula putting that sauce to work.

So you are looking for a dedicated server, and realize oh jeez I don’t know a whole lot about managing a dedicated server. Besides doing the obvious and making sure your server is managed you should think about getting yourself some sort of control panel. Control panels will give you the ability to do important [...]

Hey everyone, this is J Miller. In case you haven’t heard, for the past few weeks the buzz around here has been focused on the new Data Center. While the new place IS amazing, a lot of the buzz concerned how much work it took to get it ready, and believe me, everyone worked 110% [...]

Greetings and salutations everyone. I’m blogging today to announce two great new features SingleHop has released over this last week. We’ve brought you two new ways to get up when your server knocks you down: Server Bailout System and Free Priority Response. Murphy’s Law wisely states, “everything that can possibly go wrong, will go wrong.” [...]

Just a short post today. I went to check our mailbox today and the Chicago branch of the BBB had sent us the below certificate. The certificate says that not a single one of our clients has complained to the BBB in all of 2008. This doesn’t mean that we went all of last year [...]
