You read correctly, SingleHop is now contributing to the Open Source movement at the rate of 2MBps. We hope to see a dramatic increase in usage in the next few months, but for right now we are just happy to be included in the distributing of such an enterprise-level Linux distribution. CentOS provides the same stability as any other RPM or RedHat Linux variant without the hassle of licensing.

TECH cocktail 6 came and went once again on Thursday night of this week. The SingleHop crew was present and accounted-for by approximately 6 p.m. and we were able to get everything ready to go in time for the start. Matt Wolff did an amazing job once again of organizing all the aspects required to have food available, signs and T-shirts created and having an overall game plan set in place for this event for our organization. Without him, we would just be a table with crudely-created paper signs.

While Windows Server 2003 can be more secure than its predecessors, it is only as secure as the weakest link. Therefore, you will want to have everything as secure as possible.
