The SingleHop group attended the Chicago Beta meeting on Wednesday evening, January 31st at 7 p.m. The event was held in a conference room at the Goose Island Brewery on North Clybourn. There were approximately 35-40 people in attendance and we had a great time meeting many of the attendees and presenters that were giving their overview.

The presentations were pre-chosen by the organizers and each presenter is given 60 seconds to pitch their service or product. We spoke with TechVenue.Com, ElevatedRails and Checksense, heard from Time59.Com, AudioSnacks.ComĀ  and our own Matt Wolff was even able to get up and explain the services we provide as a hosting provider.

Check out the pictures from the event:

If you’re interested in participating next month, feel free to contact the organizers at http://www.chicagobeta.com/. The Web 2.0 community in Chicago is definitely growing by leaps and bounds, as new groups have been attending every month.
Have a great weekend!
