Sam Bowling is our system administrator and cPanel expert leader here at SingleHop. He brings with him a vast amount of knowledge of computers and technology. Studying Electrical and Computing Engineering Technology at Purdue University, he increased his astuteness in the world of information and technology.

Growing up in Bloomington, Indiana, Sam made the somewhat short move to Chicago in November of 2006. With the intent to start a career in information technology and expand his knowledge in system administration, he made his way downtown to dive into the computer world. In fact, he loves this industry so much, that his biggest fear in life is "the day the internet dies."

Not unlike the majority of our staff, Sam started his life long career using his fatherÕs Apple II at an early age. From there, he got a 386 in elementary school. While he was only in the 4th grade, Sam was taught QBasic. He immediately became hooked and there was nothing stopping him from there. After getting a taste, his need to increase his computer knowledge only grew stronger. Reading anything and everything he could get his hands on taught him all he knows todayÉ and that is a lot of information to store inside one head!

When he isnÕt reading, this 23-year-old computer intellect likes to relax by playing video games or spending time with his sister close by in Elgin, Illinois. Sam enjoys the short trips to visit with his family, as well as taking longer ones, when the time allows him. Not only does he have a natural knack for computers, but this CPanel expert was also once a dance expert as well. Growing up, Sam was part of an international dance team. His love for traveling stems from the various places he visited while dancing his heart out. Disney World, Quebec, Germany, France, Switzerland and the Czech Republic are some of the places he has had the opportunity to visit along with The Grand ÔOl Opry- where he happened to be a three time national champion. With a wide array of knowledge, Sam can be found dancing around the datacenter passing along his knowledge and helping SingleHop thrive.
