    Biography

Follow the trail of transformers and other small toys and it will lead to Ronald Cotoni. ThereÕs no mistaking Ron from the rest here at SingleHop. This former Bostonian is a true kid at heart. With his thick East Coast accent and pure genuineness, Ron is one loveable guy.

At only 25 years old, Ron is definitely not a neophyte when it comes to computer systems. While most kids were learning how to read and write in kindergarten, Ron was busy playing on Apple IIe's. Trying to get a head start on the rest of his generation, he used his uncleÕs old computer to further his technological knowledge by playing games like Doom and Wheel of Fortune. In the 5th grade, his intelligence only increased when he got his first computer, an IBM XT. There was no stopping him once he got his hands on this piece of technology. Fiddling constantly with his new toy, young Ron learned all about Batch files on his computer. Of course, for a computer expert like Ron, he couldnÕt just use the system like everyone else in those days. The menu system it came with was not to his liking, so what else would he do other than disable it?

Always willing to talk to anyone and everyone, Ron is definitely a people person. Frequently sporting his favorite orange clothing and proudly flaunting shaggy, gleaming brown locks, you would assume he wants attention focused on him. Then again, appearances can be deceiving; this un-seemingly shy whiz kid has a fear of being watched!

If youÕre out and about in Chicago, you may just happen to run into Ron. Exploring the big, Windy City never gets old for him. Computer systems arenÕt the only thing Ron is an expert on; he has become a master of ChicagoÕs public transportation systems. Discovering the wide variety of cultures that can be found in all the different parts of the city keeps him busy on his off time. While most people would be inside during the frigid Chicago winters, the former New Englander is used to the chilling temperatures. When he does need a break from the bitter cold, Ron likes to take time catching up on his reading. After his long days of working on computers and roaming the city, Ron can be found in the kitchen. He loves to cook big meals for himself and others, so if youÕre feeling hungry, Ron is the go-to man. Potluck anyone?
