  • Lukasz "Luke" TworekLead Systems Developer

    Biography

Luke Tworek is the programmer here at SingleHop. He is responsible for both our front-end and backend sites. Along with the many projects he has perfected here, Luke has the ability to brag that he is the one who created the automated provisioning system that automates our new order installs.

Luke was born in Jelenia Gora, Poland. Luckily for us, he moved to the United States in November of 1986, and eventually met Dan and Zak, leading him to become SingleHopsÕ genius programmer.

In the sixth grade, Luke received a free 286 IBM PS/2, which didnÕt come with an instruction manual. This forced him to teach himself all about computers and jump-started his career in programming. After attending Westwood College of Technology, Luke furthered his knowledge of programming, and brought his experience to SingleHop in 2007.

With major accomplishments like getting over 1,000,000 hits on a geocities page, what does a computer programming intellect have to fear? ÒI dream about being eaten alive sometimes,Ó he claims, gratefully adding, ÒLuckily this has not come to pass yetÓ. ItÕs a good thing too Luke, weÕve grown quite attached to you and your programming knowledge! When he is safe at home, not being eaten alive, reading up on Òuseless information he will never useÓ on Wikipedia is how Luke likes to spend time. Useless, that is, unless he wakes up one day and finds himself on the set of Jeopardy!
