Chicago-1 is organized into hot and cold rows. This is a view from an angle of all of SingleHop's racks.
This view is down a Hot Isle of the data center, where the server exhaust blows. This aisle is where the rear of the servers face. Here in the distance you can see a SingleHop engineer hard at work.
In this view, you can see the rear, or "hot", side of the server rack. This is the back of the servers where the power and network connect to the server. This is also where the server exhaust fan is located.
This is the front of the same racks that were displayed above. All servers are labeled and tracked in the Chicago-1 facility.
This is a photo of one of our engineers working on a server using a Crash Cart. These are portable monitors and keyboards that can be used to connect to a server on the floor without removing it from the rack.
To access our data center, you will need to bring with you a photo ID. Please only wear closed shoes, no sandals or open footwear. SingleHop’s Chicago-1 data center is our first and one of our most active facilities. With over 2,000 servers installed, it also serves as a central hub for SingleHop’s Chicago operations with 24x7 administrator coverage. Many of SingleHop’s own internal systems reside in this facility.Download the full report in PDF format
